Obstetrics and gynecology


Obstetrics and Gynecology Ward has 22 active beds ready to serve patients. This section has seven rooms with three beds each in addition to one isolation room. Each room is equipped with a refrigerator, a TV and a restroom. In each room, suction and central oxygen are installed on the wall. The nurses call alert is easily visible on top of all three beds. There are seven gynecologists and together with 13 assistants (students of gynecology).


Usual measures taken in the ward of obstetrics and gynecology:


    -Direct patient admission from clinics or Labor

    -Nursing care and providing patient care services

    -Providing patient education and providing educational pamphlets

    -Breastfeeding training for mothers


In this ward, patients are hospitalized with the following diagnoses:


 Natural delivery

Suspected of ectopic pregnancy

Before cesarean section

Closure of the uterine tubes after normal delivery

Discharge curettage

Threat of abortion

 Infection after normal delivery

Clotting the cervix during pregnancy (Cerclage)

 High-risk pregnancies (gestational toxicity, gestational diabetes mellitus, amniotic fluid loss, etc.)


Common Diseases:


Low Amniotic fluid (OHA)

Poison and Pregnancy (pre-eclampsia)


Preterm labor pain (PLP)

Cesarean or normal delivery
